Fender Strat Color help.?

I;m looking into buying an American Standard Strat, but it doesn’t come in the color I want, Arctic White. It shows on the color chart that it is available, but it is not a choice when ordering. It’s available on the Mexican Standard, but I don’t want that. My favorite guitarist has one and I want exactly like his. PS. I want it in maple wood.

Hi there! Unfortunately, the Fender color chart does not list which current guitars actually are available with a particular finish, being more of a pictoral guide than anything else! Unless you are in a hurry, you could just play the waiting game, as Fender will typically change the color options on a yearly basis. Alternatives would include the Fender Custom Shop (expensive), and the pre-owned marketplace for Special Editions or Fender Special Runs (on-line music retailers, eBay, Craig’s List, Harmony Central Classified, Stratocaster-Talk Buy and Sell, etc.). I know you mentioned that you do not want a MIM model, but if you were able to inspect and play the instrument prior to purchase, you may change your mind! Best regards, Dana
